Evolutions
All pokemon available in the game will be able to evolve at least once. Evolutions are randomized, but with some logic:
- The evolution will share a type with the previous form, and will be of approximately similar BST to what it is “supposed” to become (usually within +/-10%).
- Everstones are allowed if desired, if acquired by a prize. Roguestone use is a choice.
- Evolutions in RogueMon will SHARE BST distribution AND ability. Any additional BST from the evolution will be randomly distributed ON TOP of the previous mons.

All evolution items in RogueMon were removed and replaced with a “Roguestone”. A Roguestone is an ‘omni’ evolution item. It evolves any pokemon that would otherwise evolve using an item.
Unique Evolution Methods
Section titled “Unique Evolution Methods”Roguestone
Section titled “Roguestone”Roguestones are offered when completing milestones in your run at a cost (or free) based on your Pokemon’s BST.
You are offered a Roguestone only while your chosen Pokemon evolves by Roguestone and you do not already hold one. Your Pokemon’s BST picks the row; each later offer in the row costs less, and the last is free.
| Your BST | Offers, in order |
|---|---|
| BST 290 or less |
|
| BST 291-320 |
|
| BST 321-370 |
|
| BST 371+ |

Friendship
Section titled “Friendship”The base friendship of your Pokemon is set according to it’s starting BST so that it evolves earlier the lower it is.
- BST <291 - Friendship = 200
- BST 291 to <=320 - Friendship = 180
- BST 321 to <=370 - Friendship = 120
- BST 371+ - Friendship = base
BST/10
Section titled “BST/10”If pokemon is <= 450 BST, it will still evolve even if it would not normally.
- A target will be chosen within a 10% range at +100 the current Pokemon’s BST.
- The Pokemon will evolve at the BST of that target, divided by 10.
- The Pokemon will still share a typing with it’s predecessor.
- Example: If Wobbuffet (405 BST) were to evolve into Delphox (534 BST), this evolution would occur at level 53.
